Did you know that the kitchen is the busiest and most popular room in just about every house? Anytime there is a gathering of mates, they frequently wind up congregating in the kitchen. Whether it is the lighting, the food or the ambiance that draws them, many hosts and hostesses find their perfectly styled lounge abandoned by their houseguests in favour of the kitchen table. Conversely, with the exception of the bathroom, the kitchen also is very often among the smallest rooms in the house. This is one of the reasons that organising the kitchen is so very important. With the kitchen being the heart of the home, it is important that it be as functional and streamlined as possible. If your kitchen is often filled with people, then it is important that it not also filled with junk that you rarely use. There are many nifty appliances out there, that boast great talents at making this or that, but at the end of the day, if they are not being used on a daily basis, then they have no place cluttering up your kitchen counters. Determining what you actually use is a really important first step to organising your kitchen.
The kitchen space has undergone a revolution. Gone are the days when the kitchen was a place for work and everyone was entertained separately in the living room. Now kitchens are open planned and guests are being entertained on barstools at breakfast bars and half tables. The preparation of the meal has now become the entertainment with guests being asked to help out with simple tasks while refreshments and nibbles are consumed. Gone too are the days of spending solitary confinement in the kitchen. Kitchens have now become more communal with all the electronic entertainment making its transition from the living areas of the home. One of the most important pieces of entertainment has been the television set or commonly known as the kitchen TV. The television has now become more common place in the kitchen. Just think there is nothing worse than trying to cook a meal and missing out on the evening news or even worse, a cooking demonstration by Jamie. This is where a kitchen TV has found a place.
Do you remember the kitchen from your childhood? Do you remember how it was the heart and soul of the home? Not only did all the meals get created there and many meals get eaten there, but that is where major decisions were made, "heart to heart" conversations were had and where visitors might have been greeted. Today, in my own kitchen, it is not much different. The same important things are happening there. The kitchen is also where homework gets done, art projects get praised, and blogs get written. And very importantly, it is where lifelong lessons about food and nutrition are taught and learned.
Expeditiously cleaning the kitchen by proceeding in steps. This guide is here as help for steps that may be used frequently. Try these simple steps and bring your kitchen's cleanness from ordinary to extraordinary. Also here on this page I will let you know what I use as good kitchen cleaning products. For the first step is to dust the room down from the ceiling down using a lamb's wool duster as was told on our BATHROOM page. Make sure to get all light fixtures, top of doors, door hardware and windows this includes curtains. There are several things you can do to assist you in making the cleaning process easier. As the absolute second step, is to use a couple of drops of Simple Green in a 2 gallon bucket of warm water and use a microfiber cloth to do the kitchen hood cleaning. Please keep in mind if your doing commercial kitchen cleaning that there might be more then just one hood to clean.
